Biography

Dr Norman Matara is a graduate of the University of Zimbabwe College of Health Sciences, obtaining his medical degree in 2011 and later on graduating with a Master of Public Health from the University of Leeds in 2016. Dr Matara has been practicing for the past 7 years, the first five years spent as a government medical doctor and the last 2 years as a family practitioner in a private setting. As a family practitioner Dr Matara has developed skills in treating people of any age and sex who have multiple health issues. He is competent in the treatment of acute non life threatening and also life threatening illness, care of chronic surgical and medical conditions, as well as early disease prevention and referral to specialists, disease prevention and basic health education.
